The Chit Funds (Amendment) Bill, 2019 has been introduced to remove bottlenecks being faced by the chit fund industry and to enable greater financial access to people. The Bill amends the Chit Funds Act to bring in changes to the regulation of the chit business sector to protect the interests of the subscribers to chits.
