COVID-19 Humanitarian Relief Initiative
At Nagasiva Chit Fund Private Limited, we believe that social responsibility extends beyond financial services. During the COVID-19 lockdown, when many families lost their livelihoods and were unable to access adequate support, we stood by our communities through a dedicated humanitarian relief initiative.
Under the leadership of our Founder & Managing Director, Hon. Shri. Nagaraj Periyasamy Pillai, the company conducted continuous relief activities for six months, providing essential support to vulnerable families in Dighi and the surrounding areas.
More than 250 families benefited from this initiative. Essential household supplies—including rice, wheat flour, sugar, tea powder, cooking oil, bathing soap, and dishwashing soap—were distributed based on each family’s needs. This was not a one-time distribution; families were encouraged to return whenever additional assistance was required, ensuring that no one was left without support during the crisis.
Our objective was not only to provide essential supplies but also to help families preserve their dignity, hope, and self-respect during one of the most challenging periods in recent history. We are proud that our efforts helped many families overcome hardship and rebuild their lives with confidence.
